CROP Hunger Walk

Started in the late 1960's, CROP Hunger Walk was THE original walk to fundraise.  CROP Hunger Walks are community fundraising events sponsored by CWS (Church World Service), an international relief, development and refugee resettlement agency.  Money raised by CROP Walks nationwide is used to provide food, medical care, disaster relief and self-help development for people in need around the world.

Since 1991, the Troy Area walk has raised almost $500,000.  The local community benefits with 25% of donations staying right here in our community.  In 2017, 150 walkers raised almost $15,000.  The beneficiaries were the Clawson Food Bank and Troy People Concerned.

The 2018 Walk Date is Sunday, May 6 and will be hosted by Trinity Lutheran-Clawson.
